These days with the ease of the internet and getting your message in front of people, there are just some MLM tools that are ridiculous not to have at your disposal.
If you’re not using some of the tools out there, it’s the same as being a mechanic with a toolbox that’s only half-full (or half empty if you’re a pessimist :).
You can bet that the mechanic down the street with a full set of tools is going to outpace you and earn tons more money.
One of the MLM Tools That Is Ridiculous Not to Have
Alright so what is the MLM tool that you should be using right now to increase your business?
It’s simple… it’s a blog!
Now of course you’ve probably heard this a zillion times, but I’m going to give you the real reasons why you should have a blog!
First of all, if you think that a blog is somewhere that you’ll be able to recruit from directly then you’re sadly mistaken. In fact, putting up a blog probably won’t increase your downline at all for a while, but like any good snowball effect…it will be well worth your time.
You see, a blog is a great tool for one amazing reason. It’s a way for people to connect with you on a personal level. They get to start thinking they know you, and then once that happens…once you’re on their radar…then they start seeing you as that person that they would absolutely love to work with.
That’s when the part of attraction marketing kicks in, and when your downline starts getting built, and MLM success becomes apparent.
A blog is a tool for your business, and nothing else. It’s not an end but a means to an end. It’s one of the MLM tools that should be in your MLM toolbox, but of course like any good mechanic or surgeon you don’t want to ever have just one tool to rely on do you?
Of course not.
So, your blog is also a part of your whole system. It’s an important part of your marketing funnel, and as long as you use it as such you’ll have no problem. It’s those people who think that putting up a blog is going to get them a rush of people signing up for their MLM business the next day who get into trouble.
Like anything else, a blog takes a little tender love and care. You have to build it, build it up, and then keep caring for it consistently like a fruit tree. No fruit tree will bear fruit if it’s not cared for, and just the same…your blog will not bear the fruit of downline members without consistent care and love.
When you blog you’re building your brand recognition. People will come to your blog, see that you’ve got some valuable content to share and then they’ll hopefully sign up for your RSS feed, bookmark your site, or if you’re wise you’ll add a pop-up or sidebar opt-in form so that you can collect their info.
That’s when your blog becomes an integral part of your MLM tools lead generation funnel.
But don’t let the simplicity fool you. Your blog in time can be one of your most useful and influential that you’ll ever use.
But why am I the only one describing blogs this way as MLM tools?
If you’ve got upline sponsors that aren’t giving you this sort of training, along with a step-by-step action plan, then you’ve got an upline who isn’t really very worried about your success, and they’re keeping vital info from you. Then again, they may not even know themselves.
